Wrap up your summer with Saskatchewan Science Centre’s biggest outdoor family celebration of the year! Join us for Labour Day Play Day: A Phenomenal Sendoff to Summer on Monday, September 1, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
This special event features a full day of high-energy, hands-on activities both inside the Science Centre and outside in beautiful Wascana Park. It’s your final chance to experience our summer exhibit Phenomena before it closes—don’t miss it!

Labour Day Play Day is packed with fun for the whole family, both inside the Saskatchewan Science Centre and outdoors in Wascana Park. Enjoy face painting on the 3rd floor near Building Connections, four exciting Stage Shows throughout the day, and sweet treats like cotton candy at the Agro-Bistro. Outside, you’ll find inflatables near Ukrainian Park, a variety of outdoor vendors!
We’re thrilled to welcome several community partners this year, including FC Regina with an outdoor shooting booth, Regina Disc Golf with a putting station, and Nanan Academy hosting creative activities in the Makerspace.
When hunger strikes, grab a bite from Paddy Wagon or Tropezone food trucks, and enjoy a free cup of Caliber Coffee while supplies last.
