World Ocean Day at the SSC

The Saskatchewan Science Centre will be hosting a virtual visit with an educator from Ocean Networks Canada through their Ship2Shore Program. This interactive session will take place via Zoom, connecting us with an educator aboard the Exploration Vessel (E/V) Nautilus. During this event, Science Centre visitors will have the opportunity to interact with the educator and ask questions about their work and experiences on the ship. The session is scheduled for Saturday, June 8, from 1:00–1:30pm. This unique program offers an exciting chance to engage with real-time ocean exploration and research, fostering curiosity and appreciation for marine sciences.

Ocean Week Canada is an annual national celebration of ocean events, learning, and engagement held during the week of World Ocean Day (June 8).
