Wind is a big part of our lives here on the prairies. It can produce energy, cause tremendous damage or simply help you fly a kite. Take part in this FREE interactive weather workshop where we will explore wind, the extreme weather it causes and build a kite of your very own.
Supplies you will need:
Dowels, sticks or chopsticks
Tablecloth plastic (cut into squares)
Flying string and handles
Ribbon
Sharpies
Clear tape
Scissors
Registration closes at midnight the day before the workshop. On the morning of the workshop, you'll receive an email with a link to the Zoom. Our Science Educators will guide your learners through the ins-and-outs of the lesson and even provide one-to-one help!
