JoyLab - Official Opening Day: June 7th

  • Saskatchewan Science Centre 2903 Powerhouse Drive Regina, SK, S4N 0A1 Canada (map)

We are excited to announce that our brand new summer exhibition: JoyLab will officially be open to public Friday June 7th, 2019.

Cost is Included in the Science Centre Admission Rate

JoyLab is a collection of curated experiences designed to provide Instagram-ready moments for visitors while discovering how simple things like bubbles or rainbows could bring about a feeling of joy.

The experience is inspired by Ingrid Fetell Lee’s Joyful: The Surprising Power of Ordinary Things to Create Extraordinary Happiness that draws on insights from neuroscience and psychology in exploring how the world around us can influence our lives.

The self-guided experience encourages visitors to explore questions about joy and happiness, perhaps sparking a conversation about how seemingly mundane spaces and objects we interact with every day effect our mood, or considering whether our obsession with taking selfies is empowering or narcissistic?

Visit to see what all the excitement is about, take pictures, and experience JOY!
