Workshops:
Squeaks and Squabbles (ages 3 - 7)
Become a mischievous mouse determined to escape with their cheese in this fun introduction to coding! If your little ones are interested in programming or robots, this is the workshop for you! Robot Mice provides an introductory level to programming and exploration of processes for families with children from ages 3-7. Procedural processes are the basis for all coding, and this hour-long workshop can help with understanding cause and effect, as well as the basics for writing code.
Rocking and Rolling (ages 8 - 13)
Learn how to code using real programming languages with rolling robot Spheros! If your children are interested in learning how to code and work with coding languages, this workshop will teach them where to begin! Spheros are an interactive way to learn cause and effect, as well as a main coding language and working with loops. The opportunities for exploration with Spheros are endless! After using angles and speeds in your code your family can explore the statistics collected about your code. This hour-long workshop focuses on the possibilities of coding and problem-solving for families with children from ages 8-13.
